A website I've never heard of is reporting that Simon Pegg -- from Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz -- is going to play Scotty in the new Star Trek film. Also, John Cho -- Harold from Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle -- will play Sulu. They'll join Sylar, who's playing Spock.
I have no objections to this.

See, I'd like to say that John Cho is most well-known for his engaging, tragic role in the film Better Luck Tomorrow, but I know few people really saw it.

ReplyDeleteBut J.J. Abrams is directing it. He co-created Lost, which is television supreme, and directed Mission Impossible 3, which...wasn't that bad.
